Hey Fanat. Big fan of both series and i spent lots of time scrolling through your picture post with all the locations. Thank you for documenting this.
I would like to do something similar one day. Have you got a list of coordinates for each of the pictures you took? Happy yo assist extracting location data from the photos and putting something together on google maps.

Hi i878787i and welcome to this forum!

I'm glad that you are interested in my picture post.

Unfortunately I didn't have a GPS device at that time so no coordinates were recorded.

However, I have a KML file for Google Earth with all the filming locations of both seasons. I have added them manually. Just give me a couple of days to revise it (right now I'm quite busy). I will let you know when it is ready and share it with you.

i878787i, hi again,

Well, I realize now that, in order to revise my KML file with the filming locations really carefully, I will need to re-watch both seasons. The thing is that I don't remember when I updated it last time so some locations may be missing there.

I was going to re-watch Spellbinder anyway because I hope to visit Poland and explore the filming locations there in 2022 or 2023, depending on the COVID-related travel restrictions.

Until my KML file is revised, I suggest you use some other sources.

1. The French fans of Spellbinder have two fantastic websites about it:

http://spellbinderfrance.free.fr/ — for season 1,

http://spellbinderfrance2.free.fr/ — for season 2.

These websites are extremely interesting, and I recommend you to read all the pages there using Google Translate (in case you don't speak French).

They also have the maps of filming locations:

http://spellbinderfrance.free.fr/ind-poi.html — for season 1,

http://spellbinderfrance2.free.fr/ind-poi.html — for season 2.

You can download these placemarks in a KML file from there. Some recently found locations may be missing there though.

2. This forum has a huge Russian section https://forum.spellbinder.tv/. In there, we have the special threads about filming locations:

https://forum.spellbinder.tv/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=59 — Australia, season 1;

https://forum.spellbinder.tv/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=60 — Poland, season 1;

https://forum.spellbinder.tv/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=61 — Australia, season 2;

https://forum.spellbinder.tv/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=62 — Poland, season 2;

https://forum.spellbinder.tv/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=63 — China, season 2.

These threads contain the geographic coordinates and street addresses (if applicable) of the filming locations so you might be interested in reading them as well.

Google Translate generally provides really good translations from Russian to English. However, it seems that Google Translate cannot parse the forum pages with BBCode correctly so in that case you can just copy the Russian text manually into Google Translate. And please be very careful with the machine translation of geographic coordinates and street addresses because Google Translate might mess them up.

3. By the way, some other people from this forum visited Poland and China, explored the filming locations there, and published the stories about that (with pictures but in Russian):

https://forum.spellbinder.tv/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=165 — Poland;

https://forum.spellbinder.tv/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=300 — China.

4. Finally, if you are a fan of The Girl from Tomorrow, you might be interested in its filming locations as well:
