Re: The Girl from Tomorrow (TV series)
Perhaps more importantly is this Facebook @Idiotboxbooks as it's for the Australian Children's Television Foundation (which has the YouTube channel Twisted Lunchbox that uploaded both series & movie versions).
https://www.facebook.com/OzKidsTV/
Surely if officially contacted, they would promote it on Facebook or maybe even share the cast promos on Twisted Lunchbox. I see they also have a newsletter. Maybe they would highlight the book in that? They can be contacted at info@actf.com.au

Zoe Isn't A Dog, wow, great! Thank you very much for these brilliant ideas!
I've just sent a message to the admin of 20th Century Telefantasy group. Hopefully they will publish an announcement.
IdiotBoxBooks, could you please contact Australian Children's Television Foundation, aka OzKidsTV on Facebook? I could easily do it myself but they seem to be an official distributor of TGFT, Spellbinder and other series so it's better if you contact them because you're affiliated with the campaign (which is fully licensed by Screen Australia).
P.S. The campaign has exceeded 70%!

Great work everyone
I contacted ACTF / twisted lunchbox last time but unfortunately they said no (long story).
Very best. Dave.

Wow, crazy how they wouldn't support it! All I know is the Kickstarter is going to be a success & shame on those who should have helped.
Have you considered replying to people on Goodreads who like the original books @IdiotBoxbooks? It also shows who wants to read them.

There's also this time travel group there:

I'm more than happy to join & do it, but may be better coming from you.

Re: The Girl from Tomorrow (TV series)
I finally managed to re-pledge to the new campaign. Sorry I was late to the party this time around. It looks like we actually might make it this time. Exciting times!!!!!

We’re absolutely delighted. And so are Mark and John. A huge thank you to you all for getting this across the line! Can’t wait to make this happen.
Let me know if anyone has any questions about the project.
With thanks.

Yes, now that it's across the line, is there any chance Helen O' Connor (Irene) would also record audiobooks for the first two books? I'd happily contribute more.IdiotBoxBooks wrote: ↑09 Mar 2026, 08:22We’re absolutely delighted. And so are Mark and John. A huge thank you to you all for getting this across the line!
